QIDDIYA ASSASSIN’S CREED

Qiddiya Assassins Creed is an exploratory indoor immersive experience concept developed around one of the world’s most recognizable action-adventure franchises. As part of a broader contractor team, Moongate contributed experiential POV and concept studies examining how the franchise’s core pillars, movement, stealth, historical cities, and player agency, could translate into a physical, indoor environment designed for large-scale audiences.

The work explores how narrative world-building and embodied movement can converge within a controlled, operable attraction format.

  • From digital movement to physical embodiment

A central focus of the exploration was how Assassins Creed’s signature mechanics, parkour, traversal, and spatial awareness, could be expressed physically. Concept studies investigated vertical circulation, layered pathways, and choreographed movement zones that allow guests to experience the sensation of navigating a living city rather than observing it passively.

  • Moongate’s POV work explored how historically inspired urban environments could be adapted for indoor use while retaining scale, atmosphere, and legibility. Architectural language, material texture, and lighting were studied to support immersion, navigation, and operational clarity within a fully enclosed setting.

These environments were conceived as modular and adaptable, capable of supporting varied guest flows, pacing, and programmatic use.

  • Designing choice, discovery, and perspective

Another area of exploration centered on player agency. Conceptual layouts tested how stealth, choice, and discovery could be embedded into the guest journey, using sightlines, concealment, elevation changes, and branching paths to allow multiple ways of moving through the environment.
